Dozens of delegations of Spanish solidarity activists have arrived in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
The arrival of the Spanish solidarity activists in the Sahrawi refugee camps comes in response to the statements made by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which called on the Spanish citizens not to travel to the Sahrawi refugee camps.
The solidarity activists affirmed that the Spanish Foreign Ministry’s statements were unfounded and that the Sahrawi refugee camps were safe.
They questioned the timing and purpose of these statements, and why they were not warned against traveling to Morocco, where girls of European nationality were assassinated.
The Sahrawi government and the Polisario Front had expressed deep regret and surprise at these unjustifiable statements, pointing out that the reasons for these warnings were blatant complicity with the Moroccan occupation.
